Presenting scenes where dreams have merged with reality and a foreboding sense of unease hangs overhead, Jake Mensinger (b. 1989) is an Ohio-based painter and muralist, who is known for creating large, dramatic, and surreal oil paintings.

Mensinger graduated from Columbus College of Art and Design with a BFA in Illustration in 2012, and his been an active member of the Columbus arts community since then.

​When he is not painting, he can be found drinking unhealthy amounts of coffee, hanging out with his cat, and/or scaring the neighbors. ​
